Happily, order was restored just in time for the holidays. As you can tell from our silly string of holiday photos, we’re having an awful lot of fun putting together Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike here at Portland Center Stage. If you’re in the area, come see us! We play 1/10-2/8 in 2015. Thanks again to PCS for use of the set for their hit production of The Santaland Diaries, and to Kate Szrom for the great photos!
Here’s our happy company, including cast and stage management (our wonderful director, Rose Riordan, is not pictured):
And here’s the cast cutting up one more time:
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Andrew, so enjoyed your performance last night. The rant was just wonderful. I have just found out this morning that Carol is a Seminole. Tell her if I had known, I would have given her a good Seminole chop at the end.
My wife and I came away from this Checkov smiling.
Thanks for your note, Jim! I’m so glad you and your wife enjoyed Chris Durang’s romp through Chekhov territory; you folks were a great audience, that’s for sure. And I’ll convey your praise to Carol, as well. I hope you’ll tell your local area friends to buy their tickets now–weekends are already filling up!
